Port Moody ArtWalk features Dan Severance

12th Annual Port Moody ArtWalk

Dan Severance

at the Port Moody Arts Centre

April 16th & 17th, noon to 5:00 p.m.

2425 St Johns Street
Port Moody, BC

(604) 931-2008

Dan Severance is an extraordinary artist whose work is very eclectic. Traditional, elegant, tropical. Bright, muted. Wheel-thrown, hand-built. Clever, fun. It’s intriguing to watch Dan work, as he’s an experimenter. If you see him in the glaze room at the Port Moody Arts Centre, chances are he’s trying out something new. He’s a master craftsman, in addition to being a fine artist. Please come down to the Arts Centre tomorrow to take a look at his work in person, to fully appreciate the work he creates…the textures, finishes, slips, and glazes. Dan’s work can be found at four different locations: Port Moody Art Centre’s Blackberry Gift Shop, the Little Cricket Gallery in Fort Langley and Maple Ridge and the prestigious Gallery of BC Ceramics on Granville Island in Vancouver. Dan is also a member of Tri-City Potters and the BC Potters Guild. Click here to contact Dan Severance through the Blackberry Gift Shop.

You are so welcome, Connie! There is a lot of neat stuff happening…I love both Dan Cynthia’s work and, luckily, Dan’s is nearby and I get to see it all the time… He’s amazing!
